The EU Directive RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) and the electronic scrap directive
WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) allot to produce all electronic devices ecologically compatible (e.g. lead-free). The change-over has to be completed by the 1st of July 2006.
