Mr. Podhajecky studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Aachen, Germany. For the next eight years he was employed in a leading position with an American computer manufacturer headquartered in Aachen. In 1980 he founded a system house providing computer based solutions in hardware and software for major European firms. The company was then taken-over by debis in 1990. Mr. Podhajecky joined esw in 1992 as CEO and substantial shareholder focussing on the extension of services and the development of solutions in the field of LED technology.

Mr. Willms started his career with an American computer manufacturer in the services division. Since 1980 he was responsible for purchasing in a high-tech system house. After having occupied a leading position at debis, he founded esw GmbH in 1991, being in charge of R&D.

Mr. Kreus studied mechanical engineering and afterwards placed emphasis on process and automation engineering as well as data communication. Following his studies he occupied various leading positions in network engineering, information technology, organisation and finance. Additionally, Mr. Kreus conducted in-service training in specific fields of informatics, industrial engineering, economics and business studies.
